O Socks No Shoes
What do parents of severe ASD or/and sensory processing disorder toddlers do for this;;
My daughter recently refuses to wear any socks or shoes. We’ve tried all types of suggestions like bigger sizes, different types of shoes, seamless socks, and absolutely nothing works. Idk what to do anymore & it’s getting cold meaning She’ll stay sick this winter. She already has a cough & runny nose as the weather is changing. .
@A MyAutismTeam Member around the house & for pajamas I do put her in those onesies/rompers. She will take her bottoms and pull-ups/diapers off randomly so they are a must & so I may have to make… read more
Do You Have A Good Cookbook That You Use?
Or do you happily make your own receipes?
My favorite book is “How to Cook Everything” by Mark Bittman. It’s large and has just about any sort of food that you might want to make, including variations of the recipe.

How Successful Was Your Travel With Your Autistic Adult Child Who Suffers From Severe Meltdowns?
We are planning a family reunion and would like advice on travel in an airplane. Info on recent travels is what I am looking for. We want to go to New York next year and would like to start planning. My Little Autistic Brother Makes My Parents Wipe Him.
Hi, I'm almost 18 years old and need help.
My little brother is around 8 years old, and although he has autism, he understands wiping and doesn't like his poop on his butt. In the beginning, 5-6 years old, he was wiping perfectly fine. Recently, though, for the passed 1-2 years, we moved to the south and he's had sticky poo. He loves junk food and unhealthy snacks as well, so that's probably why. But he makes my mom wipe his butt! My mom says that he'll clog the toilet, making excuses like… read more

Does Anyone Have Experience Or Story About Balmy World Drums Helping Our Little Sensory Seekers?
I keep getting targeted ads for this company and their drums, I guess because I've been googling and looking into more non traditional therapies like music/sound therapy.
It didn't even occur to me to search for one cheaper on amazon!! Thank you for the idea! I'm going to order one of the Hopwell ones. The sounds these drums make remind me of big windchimes, which he… read more
