Need Help Finding Plus Size "pull Up" Style Adult Diapers

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭
Corona, CA

My son is "big and tall" and he still requires the use of full protection diapers. At 16 years old and 270 pounds, I can't change him like a baby. Does anyone know of a website that offers full protection in a pull up style diaper (size XL or larger)? Depends and other store bought brands aren't big enough and only offer protection for light bladder control. I need something heavy duty for all the "works".

Try contacting an adult nursing facility to see if they can give you a recommendation.

I don't know about where you live but in my state, if the doctor writes a prescription for the pull ups, there is a company that deals in medical supplies that you call and make the first order from. Then they call me about once a month to see if my son needs his pull ups. They contact the doctor to fill out paperwork once a year to make sure my son is still needing the pull ups and to get a new prescription. My son gets 200 a month. They work pretty well but I have to check on him every hour or so as any pull up can only hold so much lol. My insurance covers the cost. You might want to see if there is a medical supply store or company that can fill a prescription for you.

My dad had prostate cancer and had an incontinence problem at night. We were desperate to find something good so he could rest. I found this site which has reviews for adult diapers. They are rated on all sorts of criteria and they solved our problem Here is the link and the brand we used were Abena. http://www.xpmedical.com/dtest.html Good luck.

We use the same company for our 15 year old although we have to get diaper style to get the protection he needs and he still has leaks. We use them for night time. I wish we could use pull up style to give him more independence. Good luck xx
