when I lived in California, I would take my son to Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles. They always seemed to know what to do to help. The doctors there understood young children with Autism. This is where my son received most of his services before he started school. If you can't find a developmental pediatrician, I would recommend finding one at the local children's hospital.

Totally Agree 100% with Lita12, A Children’s hospital is the place I definitely recommend for any children who needs Specialized Medical Services or Care.

Yes, Mr. steve33 has a Developmental Pediatrican. He finds her very beneficial, His son as you may recall is well undeveloped for his age. The difficulties with his son is referred to his Developmental Pediatrician, for expert assessments and treatments. With a 8 year old child who has development and learning disorders / behavioral problems, poor self-esteem, and other psychiatric symptoms. Luckily for his son the Developmental Pediatrician is teamed with amazing Occupational Therapy Group that plays a Huge part in Mr. Steve33 son’s rehabilitation program and his Neurological Development. Of course one of the main problems is that his son is not able to be Potty Trained and that requires purchasing and using Disposable Diapers 24/7/365. Please if you have any questions please send me me message. I’m glad to help you in anyway I possibly can.

Unfourtely none at the moment. Although, I had speech, and occupational therapy when I was back in Canada. I had one-to-one care. Someone would come to my house and help me with my developmental issues relating to Autism. I vividly remember hiding from the teacher under the chair, but that was because I did not know how to express myself yet.
