As a former autistic student of Cobb public schools, I'd just avoid them entirely. Teachers treated me as a defective subhuman instead of a person. Look up Mary Katherine Pursley if you want an example of what Cobb sped teachers are like (she was one of mine lol)

I know this is 2 years old but i could not find a more recent thread. Have you moved to GA? Any guidance you can provide for public schools around Atlanta, with special ed programs for a 6yo with ASD?
