He attends elwyn seedlings now. He does have an IEP. I will look into anything privately or public schools. Just want him to have the best services out there.

Making a picture book of his classroom, lunchroom, playground, teacher and his own desk is a great idea. "Seasons" is right on target. Excellent idea. It will definitely help with transition into school. A video may even be helpful.

Need to call the school and have IEP set up now. Have a tour of the school. Take pictures of where the child will be and have him look at them and you can talk to him about that. Even the special ed room.

Are you talking about privately placing him? Where in Philly? You should have an Iep meeting now to get him transitioned in to the new sd but if you are talking about private school paid by you then there are a few good schools in and around Philly. Once I get more info on of you want private schools or not I can add more info.

My ds is going into middle school. Luckily we have had swimming lessons there on and off through out the years. I am hoping they let me go in and take pictures also. Well let probably isn't the right word. LOL
