Medication And Autism

My son has been having some bad habits. Hitting throwing things yelling ect. We may be putting him on meds. Other parents I spoke with said it made a difference for the better when they did this. What are your thoughts? Hope you all have a blessed day.

My son is 7 and autistic he takes Depakote at night, does anyone know about this medication? It seems like it gives him restless leg syndrome, he is mostly non-verbal.

Sometimes I do,but overall I think my husband and I made the right decision. I think you will have to have a list of pros and cons and see which side wins.
