Nail Biting
Hello :) yes, It does make sense for sure! I try not to get on her too much, we all have things we do/habits. She tells me that she has extra skin so it’s ok for her! She can be very entertaining 😆
I'm a skin-picker, too. My mom tells me I did the same to the point of bleeding when I was around 4. I still pick, but it's a lot more, "mindful" now, if that makes sense. I'm able to stop before it bleeds (most of the time). My mom will still tell me, "please don't pick!" The dead skin drive me up the wall and I HAVE to get rid of it! I'm autistic with OCD and anxiety (and ADHD).
Good morning, honestly I wish:)
My daughter pulls the skin from both sides of her fingers, next to the nails. We have, I think, about 4 band-aides on right now.
I think it’s just a habit, as the nail biting probably is too. I’ve tried to stop it & I hear “I can’t help it”
It’s just one of many things 🧡
