My son use to give a hard time to have his blood drawn.I use to get anxiety just thinking about it. I asked my neighbor to come along to the appointment because my son totally respects her and listens to her. So the day of the appointment they were getting ready to stick him to draw the blood my son bolted for the door. My neighbor told him to sit back down and he did. From that day on I never have a problem with my son getting blood work done.

I think Liam would probably require a papoose like some dentists have or some kind of sedation or antianxiety meds to successfully get his at this phase in his life. We did have a good blood draw I can remember when he was much younger with a very talented tech who was really in tune with Liam. My husband also had a blood draw that day which Liam watched first and that is the one time I think he has had a smooth blood draw.

Also I would like to add, that sometimes his grandmother goes to calm him down and they like family attending as long as it is easy to do!! Make it family event as makes child/adult child happier and calmer

Sorry, my internet not working properly - my answer came out twice!!
Yes my son doesn't want to get bloodworks but sometimes he so distracted he allows them and sometimes he so calm by everyone he allows them
But they don't put to sleep as they don't want to force the situation
