Hello Team. I Have A Question. Is Normal For My Two Year Old To Have Days That He Doesn’t Really Want To Eat?
My son used to eat anything, but when he turned 3 he started running away or have a tantrum when we offered him food. Now at almost 8 years old, he still does that. I've spoke to his Dr and therapists about it and they all say it's normal. As a result there's only certain things he will eat, so I have to stay stocked up on those things and make sure he takes his daily vitamin. I hope this isn't the case for you. But if you're worried about him eating, try offering him stuff you know he likes.
Our two year old has days like that. Usually when those days happen it’s because our son has a tummy ache which means he is going to have a huge blow out or throw up. Since he can’t verbally say “my tummy hurts.” As far as not eating just because he doesn’t want to eat, it has happened before and we still to this day don’t know exactly why. lol. As far as normal? Uhm it depends on who you ask. Some may say it is for ASD kids, some may say it is because of growth spurts, etc. I would keep an eye on the not eating and observe body language for sure. 🫶🏼🫶🏼
