Ive Been Researching The Side Effects Of Various Vaccines, Ages 3-15...does Anyone Know Of Some Good Reliable Sources For More Information?
since i have one autistic toddler and one non autistic preteen, i want to know the full spectrum of side effects for vaccines on both...my older one because shes at the age when shes almost ready for another round, and the younger one because of her autism, and the fact that she will eventually be in line for the ones my older one will have already experienced. i am not necessarily pro vaccine at all, no matter what it is, but there are some that i know are beneficial and the end result is… read more
Thank you for the reassurance… sometimes I’m brushed over or placed aside when I’m asking questions that could potentially cause others to feel uncomfortable or offended, and that’s not my intention, especially when I’m trying to make a decision that will affect my kids one way or another… I’ve been told to just “listen to them, they know better than you” and I’m not ok with that. Opinions are very different than facts, and sometimes that line bleeds and it’s hard to tell where one starts and the other ends, which is why I prefer long standing medical studies… great call on the university library… I’ll be taking advantage of that this week!
Hard to believe we are still debating vaccinations for the last 25 years. I'm sure you'll find various sources with conflicting information but you have some reasoning as to why you found some info more convincing than others.

Glad your eyesight recovered that must have been scary, did your doctor report the side effect to CDC? I understand the concern on Covid vaccine, though I got mine and was grateful to have it but I am wary of getting regular shots- I know many people in same boat and then I know others who have had 7 Covid shots and they love getting them regularly. Remember the flu shots have been changed for children due to complaints from autism community. Children’s flu shots are single doses so that they don’t contain the preservative in them. Your flu shot comes from a bottle. I get mine every year. There’s different formulations of flu shot by companies— and some are crafted in different ways. It’s important to still keep asking questions about any vaccines, that’s our right, and ask to see ingredients and the medical insert. I’ve asked for medical inserts on flu shots and sometimes gotten them sometimes not, sometimes they are given to you. Same with Covid shots- and paxlovid. There’s medical journals that contain study information with side effects that your local university library or local med school librarian might let you see.
I mean any vaccine that has no medical backing… no substantial time or medically proven evidence that proves or disproves any theorized side affect(s) and how they may or may not be beneficial or harmful for our kids, all of our kids… flu shot? Years of practice and study and overall, fairly safe for most kids (if there are no underlying conditions)…. Covid vax? Not so much…. To be asked to vaccinate my children, who are still developing, with a “medication” that has been around for a few months, is absurd… I almost lost my eyesight permanently after getting vaxxed.
By new vaccines, do you mean vaccines that don’t have live virus in them?
