Has Anyone Had Issues With Neighbors Calling The Police On Your Child Due To Behaviors?

Orlando, FL

Within the last 24 hours the police has been called to report we are making a disturbance. We love in the same place for months, no new Neighbor's, but as of yesterday new problems.

Some people are quick to the cops or landlord. We have been here in an apartment for 4 months and I yelled for a AA battery for a mouse while I was playing a computer game. The neighbor complained to the landlord. Those the same neighbors who were screaming at each other and banging on something a couple times. Kind of scary because it sounded like a fight but it's funny that they complained about me yelling for batteries.

Yes. I have many times. One, I ignore the neighbor. I don't answer to them and it's none of their business

2nd, if the police do come. Which they have many times either from neighbor or myself because my son kicks walls and rages .He is 18.experienced this since age 7.

Point is .This is a child with disability. He behaviours are a manifestation of his diagnosis.
A medical condition!! You have all supporting documents from physicians. Police can not do anything.
It irrates me that people are that ignorant.
Well..I use to get irrate. Now I kill them with ignoring them, smiling ..
Personally, when the police do come after a neighbor or anyone called. ALWAYS GET A REPORT NUMBER. They have to give you that .
They can't say they don't have one. Each call,is attached to a case or report.
If this neighbor continues harrassing by these calls.
You are able to provide these reports to the courts.Always. documentation .Always.
Also, support yourself with behavioral, support agencies for direct support and respite.
