Yes I have. I read articles about common comorbities in addition to autism. They include schizophrenia, gastrointestinal issues, sleep issues & epilepsy

Absolutely, sometimes unmistakably diagnosed with autism but can be physcosis. Usually, Autism is concurrent with phychosis on schizophrenia spectrum.

I seem to remember that docuseries with the 5 kiddos but it has been a long time. I remember one where she was talking about gluten free diets and that she makes her own bread and things. I believe it may have been 15 years ago, the one I'm thinking of. I feel you are correct in that it was troubling,I probably shouldn't have mentioned it but it came to my mind when I read this post. Janni really surprised me in the strides she was able to make in the follow up one.

There was a couple of documentaries on the TLC channel about 10 years ago of a girl named Janni and her little brother Boadie where she was diagnosed with schizophrenia eventually but was first diagnosed with Autism. Boadie was diagnosed with Autism too but eventually changed the diagnosis to schizophrenia. I believe in both cases, they dropped their Autism diagnosis once they were diagnosed with schizophrenia but I'm not sure. I can't remember what the title of the documentary was but I think it was called "Born Schizophrenic"
