My 9 yo son with ASD has separation anxiety issues. He was screaming up to 90 minutes a day at school when a teacher or para left the room. Also screaming with separation anxiety at home and broke his foot with thrashing. Switching from Prozac to Buspar 5mg BID helped. Also addition of natural supplement inositol 6 grams twice daily helped further. He is doing much better with only minor issues now.
