Local Support Groups/parents In Lansing, Michigan

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭
Lansing, MI

My son is 4 years old and I am really struggling emotionally, I'm looking for other parents or possibly a support group that is local to my area to be able to meet others in person and just talk. It would be nice to talk about things and get some support, I think it will be beneficial for my family also if I can get to a better place emotionally.
Thanks.

Try asking at your local regional center. Sometimes there are supports groups there.
If there are none, try starting one at your son school, church, friend home, ect. Sometimes you can also get parents to join you at a public place, like the park, star burst, McDonald's and share information.
