Yes! I finally insisted that his dr do a blood test. He is
severely anemic. It went from the cushion and stuffing to wood. Once I took pictures of all the bites out of the windowsills and made two trips to the er... the dr listened. Iron deficiency. With a iron supplement and ferrum phos 6X, the pica has almost gone. For the record...memory foam was the reason for both trips to the er... not digestible. Hope this helps.

theyve done tests for any deficencies in her blood and urine and havent been able to find anything..i started giving her a kids multivitamin everyday anyway and no change...im at my wits end...im tired of hearing its just a phase from all the drs here ..it makes me want to tell them "yeah thats what everyone said for the year it took for me to get her autism diagnosis...all those symptoms were a "phase" too"
