How Can I Help My Son To Stop Spitting?

My son is four years old and for the past few months he has been spitting on my mirror, on my coffee table, on Windows, floors. every where u can think of. Please any ideas how to stop him?

my 2 year old son does the same thing- most of the time it's because he is tired. I give him a drink with a straw or a snack... he needs oral stimulation.

Give him saltine crackers every time he starts to spit. It is physically impossible to spit after eating a cracker.
