Do You Think You Can Benefit From At Home ABA Services As Much As You Would In Centre Based Services?
We have ABA at home. As Badgirlfree said, it is the child's natural environment. However, the child has to get used to having strangers in their house. One on one is not bad but when you have the tech there, the BCBA and the supervisor there, all doing their jobs, it can be a bit much for the child to get used to. I know it took our son sometime to get used to the group being there. It took him about 6 months. Just FYI...

I have mixed feelings about that. Right now I have home ABA for my son and he doesn't seem to be responding to the help. The women that works with my son had worked with him at his school. She sees different behavior at home and it makes it a challenge to work with him. It depends on your child.
Watch out in ANY setting for predators! These are the places they target.
Yeah, I agree with what Pammy and BadGirlfree.
ABA in home setting, or any natural setting is very good, better than center's setting.
The child get to practice straightaway on natural setting what is right or wrong.
