What Are Some Toys And Games That Are Good And Helpful For Kids With An ASD?
It sounds flip but I would think almost anything a child likes to play is great; most games teach taking turns, tolerating frustration, spending time with others, counting, reading, etc.
Definitely going to vary a lot with the individual kid... find out their special interests.
For us a major consideration is how boring it is for the adults involved, so Chutes and Ladders uggggh noooo, Uno (kids edition) not so bad... :-) opinions may vary! just think about what happens if you have to play it over and over ...
For motor skills we have one called Animal upon Animal which is cute and fun.
For readers, try Pathwords Jr perhaps. Popular in our house.
If the child has a speech delay, this list may help:

Prek-6th grade. Nabi2 is great. They even have a program designed for Autistic children.
If you need financial assistance buying your Nabi, the company has a program called Inspire. We got our Nabi2 for $99 from the company.
My son loves his IPad and Computer. He's 13. He also draws pictures in abstract. He started doing that last year. Got him a nice art set for Christmas.
