Help Me Deal With Wandering

my 11 yo with HFA wanders/escapes despite locks and alarms. She "knows" the safety rules about asking permission to be outside in our fenced yard only (with her swings)but frequently "forgets". Today she was missing for two hours, I thought she was in her room, when we found she wasn't , we began calling outside and looking for her. I was on the verge of calling 911. Probably should have... I know exactly how you are feeling. My daughter use to do that. It scared me to death. I prayed a lot that God would take it away. I have large family, so they watch over her for me. Constant talk with her every occasion on why she need to stay close to mommy& daddy. It took quiet long time, about four years. Thank God she is not doing it anymore.
