Do You Believe That An Autistic Child Can Have Mental Telepathy?
I just read an article about a 9 year old autistic girl from India who can read her mother's mind even from another room. Do you believe in it? I do. If your child has this extraordinary ability, will you make it public like what this family did?
I have experienced autism telepathy many time with nonverbal and minimally verbal individuals with autism.

My daughter has an uncanny ability to read peoples moods and even can tell if someone is in pain. She has said "you have a headache" to me, when indeed I do. She also could tell when a former classmate was going to have a seizure. I think because they are functioning on a different neurological level they are able to tune into things most us cannot.
According to the article, the poem was randomly chosen by the tester and given to the mother in one room as a test, and the girl was in another room. The mother read the poem in her mind in one room, and the girl typed it on a computer in the next room. That is impressive if true but I would really have to see it to believe it.
I do believe that many Autistic children do sometimes make up for what they lack in certain areas by excelling in another but I do not believe in mind reading in any situation let alone an ASD child. I think this is more for attention than anything else, and if it brings attention to autism without hurting anyone else let them do it.
Thanks for your friend request. I noticed you are from Milwaukee. I am too. The following questions and answers were telepathically influenced by some nonverbal friends of mine from Milwaukee in 2003. Enjoy!
