He received Early Intervention services and is now in a Developmental preschool after he turned 3
I work full time so he goes to a daycare after the preschool.

In my opinion ,she needs an certified ABA therapist , that is able customize a program and evaluate his goals month by month , not just somebody that knows techniques, that may not be exactly what her kid needs. however having somebody who can take care of her kid's needs DURING the sessions would be more helpful.

when my daughter needs bathroom breaks , during her sessions Iis my husband or me taking care if there is "accidents" , that's why is mandatory to be an adult , could be the babysitter, a family member , At All times,, if u are not available .

aba therapist will provide one on one therapy ,,and one responsible adult has to be present during their session , there is no way they will
perform any other duty like child care , o babysitting , it is hard to get 8 hours however it is ideal depending on your child's needs , so I wouldn't even ask that question.

While they may have physical custody of him for 3h YOU. Are still resonsible for his needs. WEAP made us sign legal pappers and emphhasized THE THEREAPIST IS NOT TO BE LEFT ALONE WITH THE CHILD. Again you may get the mail or do laundry but the therapist needs access to YOU if something should happen from hunger to scratchs etc. You need to be there to adress these issues.
