Do You Have Issues With Your Children Waking In The Night And You Sleeping Through It?
Answer: When my ds was getting up constantly we bought a sensor you attached to the wall (we put on our tall computer case). Plug in the other part of the sensor in your bedroom and it will wake you up when someone walks in front of that sensor. My ds is to old now and we can't "pretend" it for the dog anymore... he knows it is for him and wants to play with it. So it's been put away, now 9 out of 10 times I sleep on the couch in the living room. ;O)
Thank you! He is sleeping well again... It seems to be best if he has a workout that day... gets that extra tired energy out.
The door alarms were to loud...we had one going down the stairs when we first moved in. The sensor that we bought later you can put anywhere and you can turn the volume up and down.
There's very inexpensive "door alarms" at walmarts. I put one on my bedroom door because my son was sneaking in there and making a mess. But in this case, you could put it on your son's bedroom door and it would wake you. You can turn the alarm off during the day.
My couch is my bed. My son wakes up in the middle of the night but he has done this since he was a baby. He would just get up and lay next to me and turn the TV on. Now he just wakes up and lays next to me on the couch or he will kick me off the couch and I'll just lay on the rug lol and I just normally shake my head and say "OUCH my bones" Ohh my back lol and he just giggles and I just laugh. I just settled for where ever you fall asleep now in my house that is where I will let you sleep lol. Thou he has woken me up and has said hey Mom wake up come on. Go lay in your room you look uncomfortable. And than he will go to his room and back to bed. Some things I have learn to just accept it and not stress over it. So know you are not alone lol we are now couch buddies :O)
