Call the autism society
Unfortunately daycares have a lot of leeway. One incident seems unusually harsh though. Public schools have to be way more accommodating. A daycare can not refuse to take him simply because of having autism but they can kick him out due to behaviors. It will be different at school age. It stinks though and is very unfair. I have had more than one similar experience. It's makes working difficult. I am sorry they are handling it that way.
Maybe the BCBA and RBT can help come up with a safety plan to help reduce the risk? Our 3 yr old is very violent when he gets upset. The RBT takes him to a safe spot if he gets overly stimulated or frustrated at preschool.
