Has anyone gone from Epilim to Lamotrigine? Did the Lamotrigine help with mood stabilization or cause more screaming?

We had a neurologist visiting from the US who had us wean our daughter off the Epilim and onto Lamotrigine, but she left us no way of getting ahold of her to ask questions. I can't get ahold of the clinic she was visiting, either. They'll be back in February, but that's still 2 months away and I have questions.
