Yes, absolutely. You have to have a good one, though. They have to work on a lot with a non-verbal person, but, yes. If you can get it, use it. And, it's also a good idea to keep in close touch with the therapist so you know what they are doing so you can carry through with the same things at home. 😊😊
Thanks. ABA training includes some time with a speech therapist. Our daughter lives in Louisiana where state law requires insurance to cover the cost.

I think if you have a skilled, consistent speech therapist, then yes. Also they can work on alternate communication with PECS or a device until speech is learned. But if you can access it without a lot of financial hardship, it should be helpful in some ways.
