Whats Your Experience With ADHD Medications?

My son just started ritalin and I'm not sure if it's working. He doesn't seem that much calmer. Then after it wears off (doctor only has him on a 4 hour one right now) he starts to get really angry all of a sudden. It's hard to know if it's working or not. Ugh

I started Concerta when I was first diagnosed with ADHD shortly before turning 25. It didn't seem to make much of a difference aside from the pounding headache I'd get as it wore off at night. I inquired about Adderall and was switched to it - I've been taking it ever since and I'm 41 now :) It's amazing! I can focus and stay in the zone.
