Wait what? Surely birdy you don't mean that? striking a child rarely works on nuerotypical kids let alone a nuerodivergent child! Chel, please don't hit your kid, regardless of age it won't teach much except it hurts. Seriously plz dont hit your kid! Violence has shown to teach only violence look you have an extreme circumstance and yes you need to address this and you need to teach this can cause really big trouble but plz dont hit your kid for it. Plz there are male police officers that will take sometime to help teach this is a behavior that's NOT acceptable the uniform alone can help make a lasting impression you don't need to hit your kid.

You might want to work out a meeting with a police officer that's calm a liason they get it and generally are very sweet if he hears this from an officer in uniform it might produce the desired effect
