How Does ABA Services Work ?
I think it's figuring out how to behave as kids and parents somethings we as parents do reinforce bad behavior and it's an unconsious thing we don't know we encourage the bad behaviors so we learn on both sides how to make life and socializing work
I always felt that ABA was more about teaching the Parent/Care-Giver than the Child(ren).
Yes aba is something you want they work on behaviors good and bad they basically do play therapy it helps with socialization behavior even speech and pt all rolled into one....you still need to get speech and pt but aba works with all of it. The good behaviors are reinforced and the bad are reworked to not be so stressful my kid used to slam her head into the floor when she was mad through aba therapy that behavior slowly changed now she calls he hands together to let us know she is angry or frustrated...I always say thought be aware what you say to therapist they can use anything against you and if. They aren't helping you learn to work with your kid...demand it you. Have that right the last group we were with was useless in "parent training" it was more parent interrogation
Ok I will thanks
