Sounds like bad tonsils Dr's take their time getting around to a tonsilectomy but that may be the best option. Do you know if she is developing tonsil stones you can tell by slightly pushing lightly on the tonsil a ball of plaque will come out. You can YouTube it or as the ent when you go. This is a heart breaker of a story. The non-verbal at these earlier ages is so difficult for a parent and adds to the feeling of helplessness to do help our child. Does she need her tonsils out? I had tonsil stones that started when I was about 16 and kept on until the fall of senior year, which is when I had a tonsillectomy. My adenoids were full of them too, so they were also removed. I used to get sore throats a lot before that, and I rarely do anymore :) Best of luck!
