We Call It Nesting.
My 3 year old autistic daughter loooves to take things she currently really likes, and places them all around her forming a circle. It makes her happy, she gets the happy flappys when she does it. We call it her making a nest. But I’m curious of. What it means? Like if anyone out there knows specifically what it’s doing for her or why she’s doing it.
Cute my husband is Michael he is a teddy bear too
Mine does it with elmo but I look at myself I do it to sleep I need my pillows arranged just right specific blankets it's my nest.
Accomplishment, it makes Me 'Happy-Flappy' too.
My son has a basket full of things he loves and uses, plays with regularly: UNO cards, a deck of Bicycle playing cards, the book he’s currently reading, deodorant, canvas pouch which he uses to keep his sunglasses and student ID on a lanyard, colored pencils, and a small teddy bear he named Michael.
Michael! That's cool :)
