Hi Everyone! Has Anyone Tried Enrolling Their Child To An ABA School? Are They Good?

That would be at the discretion of the Clinical Supervisor. My daughter is receiving 6 hrs per week and she’s on her 3rd round of extended ABA (and almost 15). Personally, I believe at your son’s age, 25 hrs is the recommended amount for progress if you can afford it.

I would discuss it with your son’s ABA team. They really are the best ones to be able to tell you what is right for him. 😊

My daughter had 25 hrs of ABA per week at a centre for 2 1/2 years leading into grade 1. It was very beneficial. She is now in a congregated school with ABA therapists supporting in dedicated spaces in the school for a couple of hours a day. In my experience, you need the right balance and the intensity depends on the age and learning requirements of the child.
