Anyone In The Naples FL Area That Used A Service To Teach Their Child To Drive? Looking For Help, Mine Doesn't Enjoy Driving With Me.

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭
Naples, FL

My life revolves around driving to and from appointments. My child has a driver's permit, it is like pulling teeth to get practice driving done. I feel like I am expected to be the driver for life. There are so many more things that could potentially be accomplished, but since I am around no progress happens. Am I the problem?

I was in a bad car wreck in high school and didn't really drive often until I started college because of anxiety. I got over it after driving regularly. It's probably not you, it's probably anxiety and the comfort of routine.....
