Is It Possible To Make A Difference In Your Child's Behaviors Only 8 Days A Month? (every Other Weekend).

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I only have my child every other weekend and the other parent is not on board with Occ Therapy, Speech Therapy, or any services recommended. Is there something I can do to help my child during the time they are with me?

I'm looking into therapy that can be done while my kid is in my custody so that change can start occurring. For the betterment of her. She's bright, but is struggling and hoping ABA or other interventions can help.

I think every little bit helps. Invest in them when they're with you and maybe there will be enough of a change in time to make the other parent go "hold up - what are you doing? I'm seeing good things."
