Plugs And Dressers.

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭
Evansville, IN

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get my autistic two year old to stop moving and climbing on his dresser? He also pulls the plugs from the wall in his room, I put a plug cover on that’s supposed to be child proof, but it was not Haiden proof, so I took all plugs out of his room but I was hoping someone could give me ideas, because I can’t take plugs out of the whole house.

They have these outlet covers that cover the entire cord, I think they go by "Dream baby" on Amazon. I can't even get those suckers off.
Not sure about the climbing, but make sure your dressers/TV stand/bookcases are anchored to the wall, just in case.
Maybe encourage pillow play, like take couch cushions and pillows and make him something to climb on?
