Hello, if there isn't speech therapy to help with your child, you can start helping with him/her at home.
Start sitting with them for 15 minutes a day.. get card with pictures on them ..show the picture and announce the word very slowly...keep going over these cards everyday.
Then you begin to show picture and ask them to say the word..
You can reward them with a thing they like when they answer correctly..
Autistic kids tend to like to use visuals with learning. They can associate a picture to help them remember a word it corresponds with Start easy words like toilet, sink , kitchen, cat, dog .then build as they are able to grasp the picture to words
