How Do I Get My 6 Year Old Son To Stop Copying Other Kids Bad Behaviors In School?
He’s very intelligent but socially/ emotionally still needs lots of help.School has put him on 1/2 day due to behavior. He is in public school but in a 8:1:2 classroom. Thank you
Yes he has a 1 on 1 aide and is in a spec Ed classroom. These are new behaviors that have emerged from seeing another child’s meltdowns. He is copying the child’s screaming, kicking, hitting and other behaviors. He does not do those behaviors at home. FBA was just finished but school wants to send him out of district and keep him on 1/2 day till then. Waiting on CSE meeting
