Honestly, I just put our son in underpants and let him scoot around the house like that- it was a little bit messy to begin with, but then right before his fourth birthday, it just clicked and he stopped having accidents. He was skeptical to begin with =) But they'll get it figured out if the safety net (ie diapers!) is taken away.

Yeah same for us, just removed diapers and didn’t look back. It was wet/messy but we always brought extra clothes when we left the house. We are still working on #2 though and it’s not as successful for us. Now I’m thinking of just having him in pants (no undies) because he prefers to poop in his underwear than on the toilet. He’ll only poop if we reward him with a toy he’s really motivated by but this hasn’t been consistant. Any tips on #2 help anyone???
