Has anyone ever tried or heard of Chelation therapy? And has it worked out for anyone?

PLEASE do not subject your child to chelation. This falls under the category of not only no proof of any benefit but serious risk of harm including brain damage, heart and liver damage and death. The tests that doctors use to determine chelation is needed are all proven inaccurate. The ONLY reason for chelation is if a mainstream MD tested your child and they have extremely high levels of lead.

In my research It is too dangerous. Not a therapy for Autism. We all want to help our children but please research ALL you can. There are other safer ways to help our kiddos.

My friend did this for her son, did nothing for him. I can only imagine how scary it must have been for him.
Just remember, society likes to take advantage of us because they know we'll fall for the "quick fix" or "cure/rid" of autism. Autism won't go away, but, our kids have the capability of learning how to function in society, all of our children go at "their" own pace. We just need to love and push them everyday.

We tried but it did not work for my son, it seems it hurt him with lot of oxalate and liver issues. He got recovered from those through homeopathy, supplements and diet treatments. I'll not suggest chelation unless someone is very sure and has seen the good results.

The high level of lead that was not coming down even after chelation was found to be in the turmeric powder that we were using (turmeric is main ingredient in Indian cooking), we switched to raw turmeric and that showed better outcomes.
