Times Table Chart.
Is anyone knows the easiest way of memorizing times tables. Please help me out.
@A MyAutismTeam Member........Actually WHO Says your Multiplication Facts HAVE to be MEMORIZED? Lots of People NEVER get them Fully or Completely Memorized and they manage just fine.Or they figure it out Eventually, one way or another it just takes them More Time. if you think about it .....If it has to do with MONEY you will be surprised how QUICKLY. Children can pick it up.Please dont MisUnderstand me....I am NOT saying NOT to have your Child TRY to learn his Multiplication Facts and I am NOT Saying NOT to EXPECT your child to be ABLE to Learn them.Alot of times Parents Under Estimate their childs ability to Learn something New ....Ecspecially when they have a Disability of some kind.Children are Very Resilient and they find ways to MANAGE to make do even if they cant OVERCOME it.......It may be Difficult for them but that doesnt mean its IMPOSSIBLE and will NEVER Happen......Usually its Not about IF they are ABLE to Learn it .......Its about HOW they NEED to Learn and WHICH Way is EASIEST for them that really makes the Difference.
Times Table Chart......There are Rules for Multiplying certain numbers that makes learning your Multiplication Facts alot Easier. There are also Noticeable PATTERNS......that are easy to catch onto.....Ecspecially since alot of Autistic kids are often good at Numbers and Memorization of FACTS .For Example..... (0 times ANY Number is ALWAYS 0) and 1 times ANY Number is ALWAYS (THAT) Number....No matter WHAT the Number is......for example 1 x 987,654,321 is going to be 987,654,321....For kids First learning their Multiplication facts this is an IDEA that AMAZES them.Anyway, Certain Numbers when you Multiply BY Them have a Specific Pattern that makes it Not only Easier to LEARN and MEMORIZE the ANSWER but also to CHECK the Answer. For Example 5 times a Number is ALWAYS going to have an Answer that ends in 5 or 0 ! It may be an OBVIOUS thing to an Adult or Older child but to younger children and those who have Not Learned their Multiplication facts it is NOT SO OBVIOUS to Them.
Repetition, separate the different numbers on their own page. I used to make up 10 groups of paper for each of the numbers 1 to 12. My son did fine, mix it up a little too, don't constantly put them in order, example:
2x1, 2x10, 2x0, etcetera.
@A MyAutismTeam Member check the internet for some ways to learn the individual tables by song. Many hear the songs and remember them that way !
I See Where A Lot Of People Have Private Email Exchange. What Link Do I Use To Get It On My Page?
