Dietary Approach
What vitamins can I give my child to help with autism.. I've been trying to read up on it but everything is so confusing so I don't know what I can give..
I would check with a doctor that promotes the use of supplements (or a naturopath or equivalent) and can help you by testing your kiddo. I definitely agree that Gluten and Dairy Free diet was instrumental in helping my kiddos and you can start that without seeing anyone. Also no food dyes of any kind. They really detrimentally affect our kiddos. I would also recommend in the beginning keeping a diary of what your kiddo eats.
Probiotics also work wonders. I also give organic multi-vitamins and cod liver oil (go with Barleans, it tastes like a smoothie!) Good luck. There is tons of info out there but having someone help you narrow down the needs will help head you in the right direction. HUGS!
My son is on a gluten free diet, and he takes a vitamin b complex pill twice a day, and also takes probiotics twice a day too. This type of diet and supplements seem to work well for him. I have read that our children lack vitamin b. Everyone is different so do what you need to do, these are all natural supplements, so nothing will harm him/her.
Thank y'all so much.. I am going to try and see how he does until I find what best suites his needs.. I feel better knowing that I can ask others who are going through similar situations.
I seen those but there's a few different ones. Is it just the multivitamin or also the probiotic. Will it hurt to give both.. do I give the one with or without fiber..
Thanks for answering.. I just want to make sure to get the best..
