I see I should have given more context. My son is fine it's my eldest. She doesn't like huge crowds, loud noises, or weird/scary masks. Hubby will definitely be working so I'll have to go solo. So being a 5 ft 2 - 9 yo now I can't just pick her up and carry her anymore. Last year Nana surprised us and extended her trip to help but she also loves Halloween. I feel like I'm punishing my youngest if we don't go. It's a rough situation and I feel terrible but we just moved here and I don't have any family or friends here. 😭😭😭
