After Starting Omega-3 (fish Oil), Has Anyone Noticed An Immediate Increase In Stimming And Restlessness?

Sammy is almost 4. We just gave him Omega-3 fish oil for the first time, and he had a big increase in visual stimming, which he usually doesn't do much of. He also had restlessness and couldn't fall asleep last night. Do you think these are temporary? Has anyone else encountered anything similar?

Actually, yes! When I started my son on Omega-3s, he actually picked up NEW stims (hair twirling). But after about a month, they went away. And I do know that fish oil can cause insomnia as a side effect but it tends to get better over time. I'd suggest giving him his fish oil earlier in the day, that way he might not be so restless in the evening.

Yeah a little but we started the B12 ,fish oil and probiotics at the same time, so it could be any of those also.

I have noticed the same thing in my son, 3 years ol, his stimming and fixation seems worse in the past few days, and fish oil has been the only change (started exactly one week ago). Going to discontinue for now, but has anyone else experienced same?
