Hi KayeGayle! I started off with my son listening to jazz music; as he loves music. I then incorporated his favorite cartoon characters, such as Barney, The Backyardigans, and Spiderman. The rest is history. Additionally, his school also used Ipads in the classroom. Try playing music for him first to see if that works; and then try showing him how to retrieve whatever it is he likes. I hope it works out for you! Blessings!
