Biomedical Treatment

Have just started treatment for Lyme disease for my son and myself. Took 20 years to find out what was wrong with me and that I have passed it onto my son. After years of failed therapies and supplements really hoping for positive results when the brain inflammation is reduced.
Anyone also out there experienced this?

You cannot get Lymes from a Gardisil vaccination, or any vaccination. It is a bacterium that is considered a zoonosis as it is spread only by a specific genus of tick that is commonly referred to as the deer tick. That is the only mode of transmission. It is amazing what totally untrue information masquerades as factual information on the internet. Lymes does cause neurological issues if it is severe/advanced and I believe the recovery rate varies from person to person and strain of bacterium. Aside from my nursing education and clinical knowledge, I only have experienced Lyme in the manner of a family friend who was hospitalized with Guillain Barre Syndrome to find out 20 plus years later she had undiagnosed Lymes. She does have some long lasting effects but has experienced a decent amount of relief from some of her on going symptoms such as chronic fatigue and joint pain. I wish you the best in recovery!

Hi there, my mom-in-law has been on treatment for Lyme disease for 6 years as she too suffered for so long without a correct diagnosis and treatment. She has also found that controlling her diet and staying away from gluten and dairy helped with the symptoms she suffered with from allergies once the lyme disease was in remission. She has confirmed the sensitivity to smells, noise and movement can be similar to the sensory meltdowns that my son used to have. Wishing you all the best!

Dr Cowden uses herbs, and heavy metal detox. My doctor has spoken to Lyme experts and they have had positive results. We have been on it for 8 days. I have already seen changes in my skin and the detox hasn't been too bad. Early days though, could take 2 months to a year. My son also seems less moody and more communicative.

Gosh that's interesting. We are using the Cowden protocol. Because the bacteria form a protection around themselves and can hide anywhere in the body and confuse the immune system ito makes sense why doctors don't pick it up. Any symptoms should be investigated further. Thanks for your feedback
