Most supports I have found seem to be focused on parents with young children

See if there is CARD in your area. It stands for Children with Autism and Related Disorders. It's usually affiliated with a University. Very helpful, with Support Groups etc. Good wishes

As a parent of an adult child I've found support groups. Here in Maryland we've the Hussman Center for Adults which provides classes, camp and a social group for men/women. My son attends classes there and social group. It has support from Towson University.

Here my suggestions other agencies the Arc etc. Colleges University community colleges and the Autism Society. You can start your own support group at the local library which some parents did here in Maryland.

I hope this helps.
