How Do You Get Poop Off Walls?

How do you get poop off walls?

I have scrubbed with soap and water (it's a latex white wall killz I think) bleach spray, soaking, baby wipes (they are suppose to have poop dissolving chemicals in it) and nothing works

My child is 6 and smears her feces into things.. sheets (do you know how to get stains out of sheets?), walls, carpeting, apolstry, toys, pillows. I have removed all carpeting and mop every other day with bleach.

We used baby wipes, a general purpose cleaner and scrub pads. It helps to clean it immediately.

We never used a babysitter so that kept the government off our backs. Our kids go to daycare and to my daughter is in a Kindergarten version of special ed class so no one has ever complained that she appears to be mistreated or something.

I drew the line at poop smearing, yelled at her and gave her one quick smack on her butt. This went on for a couple of years. Taking her to the bathroom on a regular basis helped her realize she could get used to going on the toilet. It took a looooooonnngg time to potty train her. She still poops in her panties if she plays outside or is too lazy playing with an Ipad but she knows better.

There is a degreaser that I use on really really hard stains. It is called purple power. You HAVE to use gloves. It is so powerful that it will take the paint off the wall if you are not careful. So, I dilute it down. About 1 cup soap to 2 cups water. Then I spray it on the walls. Then I take a coarse brush and scrub it. I would try a rag first to see if that get it off and then resort to the scrub brush. Honestly, for me I don't care if it takes the paint off the walls, I can always repaint and buy a can of touch up paint. I would also get rid of the cat but thats just my opinion. if CPS says its my kid or the cat, the cat is going to go.

So sorry to hear about your run in with cps. We dealt with them a few years ago. They are the lowest of low scum.

I use cleaning vinegar with Dawn soap and a really good squeegee that has a good scrubber on the other side of it.
With a extension handle for those hard-to-reach places.

I know this is an older post, but I had to chime in here with a solution. My son is now 16, and I can say every single comment on this thread we've experienced and still do. However, one solution has helped immensely. Since he was about 8, we've been purchasing a very specific back zipped onesie pajama. The only ones that this has worked with are from Little Sleeper Keepers, company named Miraquad. Now, he did figure out how to get them off pretty quickly, but we came up with a solution for that too! I keep a roll of kitchen twine, feed a length of it through the hole in the zipper pull and tie it in knots at about mid chest length, short enough so he can't get it over his head, long enough not to bother him. This has saved a LOT of poop headaches. In some areas these may even be covered by insurance or grants as adaptive clothing.
