Anyone Using A GPS Tracker They'd Recommend?
My son is 14, and has been eloping a lot lately. He runs VERY quickly. Local police do not have any tracking system, but we are traveling anyway, so I need something that works throughout the U.S. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!
I use eTrak with my 3 1/2 year old. It's a great device because it's a hybrid technology using GPS, WiFi and Cell signals. It pulls from whichever signal is strongest at the time. I know the biggest challenge for parents of children with autism and sensory issues (as with mine) is how to get them to wear it. I came up with a solution that seems to work. I sew the outside of his pants/shorts pocket such and cut open a hold from the inside and drop it in. He doesn't even know it's there! Good luck!
AT&T has an awesome device that looks like a watch, goes on your child's wrist, is a phone that only calls emergency numbers that you the parent log into it and has a built in gps tracking system.
@A MyAutismTeam Member,
What is the name of this device and how much does it cost? Do you have to pay some kind of monthly service fee for the tracking part? Does it come with something you yourself track your child?
Thank you,
Needie
