Brain Treatment Center In Newport Beach, CA And Bravo Probiotic?
My husbands exwife wants us to look into both of these things to see if they would be good for our son. The Brain Treatment center lists 2 testimonials of autistic children and would cost us $11,500 a month for up to 4 months...not to mention we live in Texas. And the Bravo probiotic I don't know if it's any better than what we are already giving him....
Thoughts? Comments?
Has anyone used either one of these. Help?
I think Bravo Probiotic is worthwhile looking into as it is relatively cheap and one makes it at home but the Brain Treatment Centre is ridiculously expensive. We haven't done either but I am aware of the research behind each. What's special about bravo probiotics is it contains GcMAF which is promising intervention under research and one pilot study published showing efficacy. But that doesn't mean the yogurt would have same efficacy. On brain treatment centre, there are a few studies published on transracial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) - one recent double blind study on rTMS showed efficacy with respect to social. But again that doesn't mean that BTC is using same protocol/technology as what was studied. Both GcMAF and rTMS, while promising, are highly experimental. Both need more research. If I had tons of money lying around and didn't mind spending $50K, I would certainly try both.
Maybe your exwife can pay for the treatment center and take time off to take your child.
