I myself cannot tolerate red dye especially red dye #40. It causes me to break out in hives and gives me severe headaches and agitation. Does your child have any known allergies?

I buy dye-free but prefer to use Motrin more than Tylenol. My daughter's biomedical doctor recommended Motrin more than Tylenol.

I believe so. My daughter is on the spec and cannot have any red food dye and regresses if she does. They make dye free Tylenol. As for the antibiotics you can always ask the doctor for a antibiotic that is white in color like augmentin.

Candida: Eliminating Yeast/Fungal Overgrowth. is a documented condition in Millions of people. Doctor's are now seeing the benefits for many to add the product align to there therapy after using antibiotic especially those with ASD due to 80% of people with ASD have issues with constipation and there systems there GI tracts are much different than a neuro-typical individual. Many people have sensitivity to Red die, it can cause a allergic reaction, like in my brother. Best advice is to track what this does to your body and behavior. avoid it if you find a constant irritation to the dies. Best of Luck GOD BLESS !

Different kids will have different food or chemical intolerances and allergies. Red Dye is a known one which is why it is often labelled and can get dye free version. Go with your instincts. Also wouldn't give Tylenol to a kid, stick to Ibuprofen. As for antibiotics, even if you ignore the impact on the gut flora, these can have side effects like most medicine for some (look at wiki) and can also have sensitivity/allergic respond. Again go with your instinct. Our son doesn't appear to have any visible issues with red eye or amoxicillin but that doesn't mean same would be true for every child.
