What is it for? The purpose? I do not have any team for my son. I looked up organizations in my town, but nothing came up. I'd like to post my daughter's work in IN where she is in applied therapy, but wasn't sure it it needed to be in my town?

You add your childs medical team, or therapist, dentist, barber or even schools that you would recommend to other parents with Autistic children. That way parents in and around your area can take their children to the same professionals that you recommend.
Anybody that has done a good job with your child is a good reference even if you've moved away. :)

My 13 year old son is high functioning and highly sensitive to sound. He anticipates sounds such as a dog barking so he plugs his ears. To assist him and it has worked so far is we purchased noise canceling head phones and he uses them everywhere even in school. They are a great comfort and it has improved his comfort in the classroom.

Thanks! At the moment, I cannot think of anything in particular, but if I do, I will certainly post it. I appreciate you taking the time to answer.

http://www.autismspeaks.org/community/fsdb/cate... Might I suggest you start by applying for respite services in your state. It can save you and your families sanity. It is a life long service and can ensure that your child will be taken care in the event you cannot. The laws very from state to state so I included a link from you state.
